0807 / W91ZLK10D0005 - OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY&HEALTH MANAGEMENT - THE PURPOSE OF THIS TASK IS TO IDENTIFY NECESSARY MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO RECONFIGURE THE CURRENT OSHMS AND PERFORM A COMPREHENSIVE TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER OF OSHMS PROCESS AND TECHNOLOGIES TO ALL DLA LOCATIONS IN ORDER TO FACILITATE WIDE-SPREAD PARTICIPATION IN VPP. THE ACTIVITIES IN THIS TASK WILL INCLUDE: 1. ASSESSING PILOT DLA SITES IN ORDER TO DETERMINE THE CURRENT STATUS OF THE SITES OSH PROGRAM AT THOSE SITES. 2. LEVERAGING INFORMATION GAINED FROM PILOT SITE ASSESSMENTS TO EVALUATE AGAINST CURRENT OSHMS PROCESSES AND TECHNOLOGIES USED BY LARGER DLA SITES IN ORDER TO IDENTIFY THE NECESSARY MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO CONFIGURE THE CURRENT OSHMS FOR TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER ACROSS ALL DLA LOCATIONS. 3. COMPLETING A TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER OF THE CONFIGURED OSHMS THAT IS COMPATIBLE ACROSS ALL DLA SITES. THE PURPOSE OF OPTIONS 1 THROUGH 3 IS TO INCREASE SUCCESS WITHIN OSHA S VPP BY EXECUTING SITE ASSESSMENTS OF DLA SITES THAT HAVE A CURRENT OSHMS IN PLACE. BASED ON THE ASSESSMENTS, THE INFORMATION OBTAINED DURING THE ASSESSMENT TO EVALUATE THE EXISTING DLA OSHMS PROCESSES WILL IDENTIFY ANY NECESSARY MODIFICATIONS TO CURRENT OSHMS. ANY MODIFICATIONS IDENTIFIED THROUGHOUT THE ASSESSMENTS SHALL BE PROVIDED AS RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE GOVERNMENT WITHIN THE INDIVIDUAL VPP SITE ASSESSMENT REPORTS. THE PURPOSE OF OPTION 4 IS TO FACILITATE INCREASED SUCCESS IN OSHA S VPP, THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF OSHMS AWARENESS MATERIALS, SUCH AS ELECTRONIC NEWSLETTERS, THAT HIGHLIGHT SPECIFIC OSH APPROACHES THAT ARE RELEVANT TO NEEDS OF EACH DLA SITES LISTED. THE PURPOSE OF OPTION 5 IS TO EXECUTE ANY REQUIRED MODIFICATIONS TO THE OSHMS TO INCLUDING THE ESAMS TOOL, BASED ON THE ASSESSMENTS COMPLETED ON THE PILOT DLA SITES. THIS TASK TIES TO SECTION C.6.7.18, WHICH STATES THE FOLLOWING: FACILITATE INCREASED PARTICIPATION AND SUCCESS IN OSHA S VPP. INCREASED SUCCESS MAY REQUIRE THE IDENTIFICATION, IMPLEMENTATION, AND TRANSFER OF TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS TO IMPROVE WORKSITE SAFETY AND HEALTH. THIS TASK WILL BE COMPLETED BY EVALUATING CURRENT OSHMS PROCESSES AT SMALLER DLA SITES, MODIFY THE CURRENT OSHMS TO BE COMPATIBLE ACROSS ALL DLA SITES, AND EXECUTE A TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER OF THE MODIFIED OSHMS TO INCLUDED CHANGES TO THE ESAMS TECHNOLOGY WITH THE PURPOSE OF IMPROVING DLA WORKPLACE SAFETY AND HEALTH. DUE TO THE TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER, THIS TASK TIES INTO THE NDCEE CONTRACT, SECTION C.3, WHICH STATES THE FOLLOWING WITHIN THE OBJECTIVE OF THE NDCEE CONTRACT: ONCE DEMONSTRATIONS ARE COMPLETED AND THE TECHNOLOGY IS READY FOR USE, TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER TO THE DOD INSTALLATIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS, OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, AND INDUSTRIES SHALL BE ACCOMPLISHED.

0796 / W91ZLK10D0005 - DENIX-KBCRS WEBSITE HOSTING 2012 - 2013 - THE PURPOSE OF THIS TASK IS TO PROVIDE OFFICE OF THE ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF THE ARMY FOR INSTALLATIONS, ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT [OASA(IE&E)] ESTABLISHED SUPPORT FOR THE DEFENSE ENVIRONMENTAL NETWORK AND INFORMATION EXCHANGE (DENIX) SYSTEM AND KNOWLEDGE BASED CORPORATE REPORTING SYSTEM (KBCRS) SYSTEMS UNDER THE ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT (EITM) PROGRAM ALLOWING FOR CONTINUED ACCESS TO ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION AND DATA THROUGHOUT THE DOD. THEREFORE, THIS TASK WILL PROVIDE END-USER ACCESSIBILITY TO THE DENIX AND KBCSR WEBSITES MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FOR A PERIOD OF TWELVE HOURS PER DAY. THIS TASK WILL CONTINUALLY EVALUATE THE FUNCTIONALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE HARDWARE AND COMMUNICATIONS HOSTING INFRASTRUCTURE TO SUPPORT REQUIREMENTS FOR THE RESPECTIVE DENIX AND KBCRS WEBSITES. ALSO, THIS TASK WILL ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE REQUIREMENTS FOR INFORMATION ASSURANCE AS STATED IN ALL APPLICABLE DOD DIRECTIVES, INSTRUCTIONS AND MANUALS, AND THE FEDERAL INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGEMENT ACT (FISMA) REQUIREMENTS. A FINAL REPORT WILL BE SUBMITTED ON TECHNICAL SUPPORT PERFORMANCE FOR HOSTING, MAINTENANCE, AND PROBLEM RESOLUTION PROCESS AND WILL ADDRESS DOD IA COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS AND ALL LIFE CYCLE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SUPPORT FUNCTIONS RELATED TO HOSTING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE DENIX AND KBCRS SYSTEM. THIS TASK IS APPLICABLE TO NDCEE CONTRACT W91ZLK-10-D-0005, SECTION C.2.3.3., THE NDCEE MISSION IS COMPRISED OF THE CORE ACTIVITY ENVIRONMENTAL, ENERGY, SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH INFORMATION ANALYSIS (EIA) ACTIVITIES. THESE CONSIST OF IDENTIFYING, ACCESSING, CONSOLIDATING, AND INTEGRATING EXISTING SUBJECT MATTER TECHNICAL AND REGULATORY DATA. DENIX MAINTAINS AN UPDATED REPOSITORY OF LAWS, REGULATIONS, POLICY, GUIDANCE, INSTRUCTIONS, THAT HELP THE ESOH COMMUNITY COMPLY WITH THE LAW AND REGULATIONS. KBCRS MAINTAINS ENVIRONMENTAL COST ESTIMATE DATA, RELATED TO ESOH SOLUTIONS, THAT IS EXTRACTED FROM DOD'S COMPONENT ORGANIZATIONS. IT ALSO PERFORMS VALIDITY CHECKS ON THE INFORMATION AND CONSOLIDATES VARIOUS PROGRAM AREAS' DATA FOR BROADER DECISION-MAKING AND REPORTING PURPOSES.
